From the Ivory Tower to the Streets

Subjugated Voices is an ongoing interview series with leading activists, intellectuals and mystics. There’s tremendous knowledge in our nation’s universities, but much of it is wrapped up in scholarly language.  I am fortunate to work with some of the greatest living scholars, and I want to share this incredible body of knowledge with the public. In these informal, friendly interviews, we focus on issues of justice, spirituality and equality.

My mission is to align various progressive movements, especially in delivering the work of intellectuals to activists who don’t have the means or desire to attend university. When we’re aligned we own the power.
